My Bio
I was born in Caracas Venezuela on January 26, 1958.

I took my first pictures at the age of 12.

In 1978 I graduated from High School in Caracas.

After that I worked in Caracas at a photographic studio specialized in advertising.

End of 1978 I enrolled at the “Universidad de Oriente” (Eastern University) on Margarita Island, Venezuela in order to study Marine Biology.

Early in 1979 I gave up my studies of Marine Biology so I could devote myself to photography.

From 1979 until 1980 I worked as a photographer contracted by the La Salle Foundation in Nueva Esparta State (Margarita Island)

At the end of 1980 I went back to Caracas.

From that time on and in 1981 I worked as assistant for several professional photographers in Caracas.

In 1982 I got a contract with Tecnoconsult company, being responsible for taking photographs during the Uribante-Caparo dam construction.

At the end of 1982 and until 1987 I worked as a free-lance photographer.

In 1987 I established my own company, becoming the best provider of E6 processing in Venezuela, with more than 200 permanent clients.

From 1987 until 2002 I managed the photo lab services and dedicate myself also to take pictures from whole Venezuela.

From 2003 until 2006 I got contracts from the company “Venezolana de Pinturas” in order to take pictures of Venezuelan landscape which were published annually in the calendar of the corporation.

Today I´m producing images for my own Right Managed stock collection to license to a variety of audience and also contributing for Getty Images.
